§ 03

From regulation to code

Every rule in our plugins can be traced back to an article in the Official Journal. This is what it looks like in the customs plugin:

  1. 1

    Source

Official Journal, regulation text, Commission guidance – in the original, with a date.

  2. 2

    Rule

We spell out exactly what is counted: per parcel, per item category, without shipping.

  3. 3

    Code

Every line with legal effect carries a reference to the regulation and article.

  4. 4

    Proof

The result is stored on the order with the rules version – verifiable, even years later.

Questions about Regelkit

01Why is the base version free?

Because a legal obligation should not sit behind a paywall. The free version meets the rule and is available as a ZIP download. Pro saves time with automation, integrations and reports.

02Does the plugin replace legal advice?

No. The plugins calculate and document under the current rules, with sources. For your specific situation, a customs broker, tax adviser or lawyer is the right contact.

03How do I hear about changes to the law?

Amounts and dates are settings in the plugins, and updates arrive through WordPress. We document the current status in the deadline calendar and the guides.
