Updated:
We want regelkit.de to be usable by everyone, whatever their vision, motor abilities or assistive technology. The site follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and thereby the European standard EN 301 549 referenced by the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its national laws in Germany (BFSG) and Poland.
As a microenterprise we are exempt from these obligations for services (§ 3(3) BFSG). We apply the requirements voluntarily, because shops using our plugins may themselves be in scope, and because we hold ourselves to the same standard.
The website is largely compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. The limitations listed below are known to us.
The review on 2026-10-19 combined an automated check (axe-core on every page in German, Polish and English, at desktop and mobile widths) with manual testing: keyboard-only operation, zoom at 200 % and 400 % (reflow at 320 px), contrast, heading structure, form labels and error messages.
Payment: the payment fields at checkout are provided by our payment processor Stripe inside an embedded frame. We cannot change their accessibility ourselves; Stripe states that they meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
Screenshots: the images on the product pages show the plugins in the shop and in the admin area. They have alternative text, but the full text visible in the images is not available as text. Every feature is described in words next to them.
Code samples use a fixed-width font and need horizontal scrolling on narrow screens; these areas can be reached with the keyboard.
“Accessibility” at the top right lets you enlarge the text, switch on a high-contrast mode, underline links and turn off animations. The settings are stored only in your browser and never sent to us.
Every page starts with a “Skip to content” link reachable with the Tab key. Everything works without a mouse, and keyboard focus is visible. The site also respects the system setting for reduced motion.
If you encounter a barrier or need content in another form, write to info@regelkit.de. We usually answer within five working days and fix problems as quickly as we can.
Consumers in Germany may also contact the market surveillance authority of their federal state (§ 25 BFSG); in Poland the procedure is set out in the Act of 26 April 2024 on ensuring accessibility requirements for certain products and services.
